Things to Do

Outdoor activities abound throughout the area. Par 5 Resort offers you 45 holes of golf on one of the largest courses in the state, including a championship eighteen. There are many other outdoor activities in and around Mishicot. You can try hiking on the Ice Age National Scenic Trail, which passes through the village and surrounding area. Visit the Village Park, located in the heart of Mishicot, and try your hand at baseball or softball, and even skateboarding, or just enjoy a leisurely stroll along the Riverwalk. Biking, skiing, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and sledding are other sporting opportunities that are available in season.

If you are looking for indoor activities, try RiverEdge Galleries, an art gallery located in what once was an authentic small town meat market on Main Street. While you are there you can take a relaxing stroll through their outdoor sculpture garden on the banks of the East Twin River. If you like antiquing and brewery memorabilia, try Mishicot’s historic Opera House, which is available by appointment. There are also several places to shop along our Main Street.

If you like history, check out our very own Mishicot Historical Museum to learn about Mishicot’s rich history or to research local genealogy.

We are especially proud of our Mishicot Growth and Improvement Committee (MAGIC). This committee truly adds magic to life in our village. MAGIC makes several activities possible in the village such as two major festivals (Riverfest and Pumpkinfest, farmer’s market, weekly concerts during the summer, rummage sale weekend, Yard of the Month, and Mishicot Business Association.

Mishicot is also home to several unique dining experiences. The restaurants in Mishicot offer that wonderful small-town dining experience, in addition to great food in a variety of cuisines. Among them are coffee house specialties and sandwiches, Italian pizza and pasta, famous Friday night fish fries, as well as American home cooking fare.

Mishicot can either be your vacation destination, or a stopover on your vacation journey. You decide. But either way, include Mishicot in your vacation plans.
