Fishing in the Mishicot Area

Fishing in the Mishicot East Twin River offers a wide variety of fish throughout the whole year.  A list has been compiled by Bruce Grossheim and Roger Vander Logt, both of CUB Radio Sport Fishing and Hunting.

Access to the East Twin River is available at most road crossings from Two Rivers to Tisch Mills.  Almost all property along the river is private, but there are spots available to the fishing public.  The Village of Mishicot has a wonderful village park with a walkway that allows fishermen access to the river for the following fish:  trout, including steelheads, salmon, northern, and many other species.  Fishing in the village park along the walkway offers you a perfect chance to bring the whole family.  Children can play on the playground equipment near the fishing area, while fishermen or women are catching their favorite fish.

Another good spot is the village’s Vets Club, where, depending upon the time of year, you can catch bass, northern, catfish, bullheads, perch, and several varieties of trout.  These fish can be caught all the way to Tisch Mills.

The Jambo Creek flowage, which runs through the Mishicot Sportsman Club property, runs into the East Twin River and is a Class II trout stream.  Free access can be made from the Mishicot Sportsman Club property.

Come visit the Village of Mishicot’s wonderland of fishing hot spots.
